Goodbye Skin

Tonight while Kate was having her nightly bath something new happened. A sticker started peeling off one of her toys and pieces of it found their way into the bathwater around Kate. Kate was playing with her cups when she suddenly and very seriously said to me, "Mom, my skin is coming off in the bath!" It took me a second to realize what she was referring to. Again she repeated herself, "My skin is coming off." I tried to explain to her what was really happening but she wasn't buying into it. I just laughed and she looked at me like I was crazy. Aren't kids great?
